I don’t think our country has ever had a more arrogant, self-serving ideologue as President than Barack Hussein Obama. Never, in America’s entire history, has one man routinely disregarded the law and circumvented the Constitution for his own stated purpose of “fundamentally transforming” these United States. President Obama has made it profoundly that clear he “will not negotiate” with Republicans concerning the government shutdown. The last time I looked our nation’s capital wasn’t exclusively ruled by the executive office. President Obama is hell-bent on imposing his socialist healthcare program regardless of its unpopularity.

Late Friday evening I caught a bit of the PBS talking heads show: I think it is called ‘Washington Week’ and … the mentality of liberal commentators was (as usual) just amazing … at least one of them claimed that the President “won re-election on the Affordable Healthcare Act” and therefore it is an overwhelmingly popular program. Really?

I don’t remember it that way. As I recall, NO Republicans voted for this debacle. The Democrats “passed it” on Christmas Eve, had to change Senate rules to get enough votes and played hankie-pankie with its language because it did not originate in the House as required by law. The law is apparently irrelevant to Democrats.

Weekly Address: End This Government Shutdown

During his weekly address on Sat. 10/5/13, Obama read several tear-jerking stories from citizens nationwide who were feeling the effects of the shutdown and he encouraged Republicans to pass a budget—with funding for his dreadful ObamaCare, of course.

“The American people don’t get to demand ransom in exchange for doing their job. Neither does Congress,” the President implied. “They don’t get to hold our democracy or our economy hostage over a settled law.”

Republicans are not holding democracy hostage.

Obama continued to complain, repeating that he would not negotiate and declared he would not “pay a ransom” to meet the demands of House Republicans.

“That’s why I won’t pay a ransom in exchange for reopening the government. And I certainly won’t pay a ransom in exchange for raising the debt ceiling,” Obama said. “For as reckless as a government shutdown is, an economic shutdown that comes with default would be dramatically worse.”

It is Obama’s shutdown and thus his own recklessness. The Republicans have not instructed the police to barricade monuments and scenic overlooks. They didn’t even vote to de-fund his precious ObamaCare; all they did was ask for a one year delay in its implementation. That is hardly a an unreasonable request given the problems we are discovering as it it is unfurled and the fact that Obama gave businesses a one year delay.

While President Obama continued to throw his baby-assed temper tantrum, Republicans in the Senate fired back in their own weekly address, delivered by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) on Saturday morning:

Obama complains that the Republicans cannot ‘pick and choose’ which laws they like, yet it is he himself who instructed his Justice department NOT to enforce DOMA. In addition to that, Obama has issued a plethora of exemptions for his disastrous healthcare program—something that is entirely outside of his authority. He did it anyway.

Prior to the law’s passing, Obama was traveling around the country selling his snake oil ObamaCare, he repeatedly proclaimed that it WAS NOT A TAX! …. But, when it finally made it before the Supreme Court, Justice Roberts concluded that the law was constitutional because IT WAS A TAX. Either way we were lied to, sold a bill of goods we didn’t order and told they are nonreturnable—“it is the law of the land.” Slavery and Prohibition were once the “law of the land” and they were both repealed. The difference is that neither of those examples were subsidized per say; once those ObamaCare checks start going out, it will be hell to stop them.

Obama claims that the suspension of government services is a “Republican shutdown,” but Republicans cannot and have not ordered the closure of the various memorials in Washington and across the country—Obama did that. Why? Because Obama is a spiteful, hateful, petty, egomaniac and he can’t stand the fact that someone would have the audacity to disagree with his superior intelligence. Similar to Pat Condell’s description of liberal Leftist students: Obama is proud of his socialist agenda like a toddler is proud of a turd. As a result of the People’s disobedience, Obama has sought to punish the masses.

Here’s a list of the “Obama Shutdown” public punishments:

1. Treatments for Children Suffering From Cancer – The GOP have agreed to a compromise by funding part of the government, including the National Institutes of Health, which offers children with cancer last-chance experimental treatment. Obama has threatened to veto this funding.
2. The World War II Memorial – The WWII memorial on the DC Mall is a 24/7 open-air memorial that is not regularly staffed. Although the White House must have known that WWII veterans in their eighties and nineties had already booked flights to visit this memorial, the White House still found the resources to spitefully barricade the attraction.
The Republican National Committee has offered to cover any costs required to keep the memorial open. The White House refused. Moreover, like the NIH, the GOP will pass a compromise bill that would fund America’s national parks. Obama has threatened to veto that bill.
3. Furloughed Military Chaplains Not Allowed to Work for Free – Furloughed military chaplains willing to celebrate Mass and baptisms for free have been told they will be punished for doing so.
4. Business Stops In Florida Keys – Although the GOP have agreed to compromise in the ongoing budget stalemate and fund the parks, Obama has threatened to veto that funding. As a result, small businesses, hunters, and commercial fisherman can’t practice their trade. While the feds have deemed the personnel necessary to keep this area open “non-essential,” the “enforcement officers” to ensure no business is done are “essential.”
5. Obama Blacks Out Sports, Entertainment Programming to Overseas Troops – The American Forces Network (AFN) that provides American sports and entertainment programming to our troops stationed abroad, has been shut down. For some reason, though, AFN News will still broadcast news, just not any of the popular and fun stuff.
Camp David is essential, but popular programming for heroes overseas is non-essential.
6. Obama Closes D-Day Memorial – The GOP have offered to compromise and fund the National Parks. Obama has said he will veto this compromise legislation. As a result, along with 24 other military cemeteries, the D-Day memorial in Normandy has been barricaded.
7. Obama Tries to Close Privately-Funded Mt. Vernon – Although George Washington’s Mt. Vernon estate is privately funded, the feds blocked visitors from entering the parking area because the Park Service maintains the lot. Apparently, the New Media publicity resulted in the feds backing down.
8. Obama Closes Over 100 Privately-Managed Parks That Cost No Money to Run – The U.S. Treasury actually makes money from the rent paid by a private company that “employs about 400-500 camp workers and managers across about a dozen states.” No federal money is used to operate these parks. No federal employees are used to staff these parks. Taxpayers make a profit from these parks. Still, Obama had them closed and as a result 400-500 employees and a private business are taking it in the neck.
9. Obama Closes Self-Sustaining Colonial Farm It Hasn’t Supported Since 1980 – “For the first time in 40 years, the National Park Service (NPS) has finally succeeded in closing the Farm down to the public. In previous budget dramas, the Farm has always been exempted since the NPS provides no staff or resources to operate the Farm.”
10. Obama Tries to Close State-Run Parks in Wisconsin – “The park service ordered state officials to close the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine, Devil’s Lake, and Interstate state parks and the state-owned portion of the Horicon Marsh, but state authorities rebuffed the request because the lion’s share of the funding came from state, not federal coffers.”
11. Obama Closes Vietnam Memorial – The GOP have passed compromise legislation that would fund national memorials and parks, and open them to the public. Obama threatened a veto. Apparently, the “essential” government employees are those erecting barricades, not those who could keep the memorial open.
12. Obama Closes Privately-Owned Hotel, Police Block Parking Lot – “The operator of a 51-room inn located on U.S. government-owned land in North Carolina abandoned his defiant stance on Thursday to keep the property open despite being ordered to close as part of the federal government shutdown.”
October is this inn’s prime season. The GOP have offered compromise funding opening the parks. Obama said he will veto that compromise.
State troopers blocked customers from entering the inn’s parking lot.
13. Park Service Ranger: ‘We’ve Been Told to Make Life As Difficult For People As We Can’ – “It’s a cheap way to deal with the situation,” an angry Park Service ranger in Washington says of the harassment. “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”

Obama has made the pompous claim that he has “bent over backwards to work with Republicans,” and that is a bald faced lie. He has refused to to compromise on any of his proposals throughout his presidency and it has always been his way or the highway.

You are a liar, Mr. President. You have done NOTHING to cooperate, compromise or set aside your differences in order to find some common ground with Republicans, because for you, there is no common ground. You are a Marxist, Mr. President, a socialist, a statist and you admitted that when you made your “fundamental transformation” proclamation.

This is conservatism’s goal line stance, they make this score and America will be “fundamentally transformed” and we may NEVER get our liberty back …. I hope and pray that the Republicans stay the course and force him to come to the table. Now, Obama may decide to raise our debt limit via executive order and he will, again, be acting outside the confines of the Constitution as he has not this authority. If he does, he needs to held accountable for it.

Like many of the meaningful issues that are being obscured by the situation in Syria and the negligence of our main stream media, Islam is silently worming its way through our societal superstructure while our elected officials default on the defense of religious liberty and the 1st Amendment.

The problem with Islam is that it is a 7th Century ideology trying to claim superiority in the 21st Century. Add to that, that there is no compassion within its theocratic discipline and confusion as to what those theocratic duties actually require and you have all the elements required to facilitate fanatical activism.

Then the Progressive Left comes along, and while simultaneously bashing Christians, they embrace the plight and need for the “rights of Muslims” because they are another minority which they can add to their inventory of victims—and YOU are Islamophobic! The problem is not that radical Muslims are beheading Christians and burning churches, it is that YOU are a heartless, thoughtless, cruel, conservative Christian. You are an extremist Neanderthal who believes in the Bible and the constitution of all things!

THIS … is the “fundamentally transformed” America of Obama’s dreams.

And your own political party won’t even bother to defend you—that is the mystifying, aggravating issue with the ruling class Republican elitists … they are willing to sell us all down the river in order to preserve their beltway buffet of privilege. They made that clear when they denied the Tea Party electorates ANY speaking platform at the RNC. They nominated that all-time winner Mitt Romney—because they believe that the Tea Party is a bunch of religious rubes and we couldn’t possibly fathom the erudite and genius methods of the beltway RINOs.

Led by Karl Rove, this crowd is more nefarious than the Democrats because we expect Democrats to stab us in the back, but the Tea Party carried all of the water for the Republicans in 2010 and our reward was ridicule and scorn. Rove engineered the Romney campaign and yet he blames the Tea Party for his own miserable failure. Thus, they are unwilling to focus any blame on the Obama administration for fear of reprisal in the media. Silently, Sharia creeps into the fabric of America, while we fight amongst ourselves.

1 Death penalties for anyone leaving Islam
2 Death penalties for adultery
3 Death penalties for homosexuality
4 Special taxes imposed on non-Muslims
5 Institutionalized inequality; Muslims are respected over non-Muslims, as are men over women, the wealthy over the working class.
6 Allowance for slavery
7 Allowance for polygamy
8 No minimum age for marriage
9 Harsh penalties, like flogging, dismemberment, and beheading, for speaking against Islam and specifically Mohammed.

And exclusively for women:

1 Your testimony is only worth half that of a man’s
2 It’s not rape without four male witnesses. Otherwise it’s adultery. See #2 above.
3 High burdens of proof for divorce (while husbands merely have to speak a phrase)
4 Forced marriages
5 No protection against domestic violence

7 Strict clothing/modesty laws…you can be imprisoned for forgoing a veil or showing your ankles

As David Swindle noted right after the Boston Marathon jihad bombing,

“We are now entering a new phase of the Islamic war to replace liberal societies with Sharia law. This is World War IV, a multi-decade conflict that will be for our generation what the war against Nazism and Fascism was for our grandparents. Except it will probably be worse.”

The very idea that Sharia should or even could coexist within our constitutional republic is absurd! Islam is a theocratic culture—the law is the religion. To make it even more absurd and complicated, Sharia is administered by Imams, so there is no consistency in their rulings. If one is looking for advice you can “shop around” for an Imam that will give you a favorable ruling, but if you are being judged on a matter of criminality, then the judgement is final and there is no appeal.

The Obama administration is failing in its duties to protect us from the aggression of Islam both at home and abroad. His Muslim sympathies are a direct conflict of interest to the safety and security of the United States. He has said almost nothing in respect to the persecution of Christians and non-Muslims in the Middle East and elsewhere.

I guess I see this as being an effort independent from the US government, though I wouldn’t refuse their help if offered. I don’t hate Muslims, I detest the teachings of Islam—its purpose is to subjugate ALL other religions. I see this idea (and its only an idea there Mr. NSA operative) as being a multinational group of Christian mercenaries, whose sole purpose would be to defend fellow Christians from persecution. They would also provide food, financial aid, weapons and medical assistance. Maybe there already is such an organization, if so I am unaware of it?

If you want to be Muslim then I think you should be able to do so, that said I think that if someone wants to renounce Islam (apostasy is a crime under Islamic rule) and leave said country he or she should be free to so—not punished by death! Islam’s presumed supremacy flies in the face of our constitution and human rights in general.

Nina Shea, citing Syria’s large but defenseless Christian minority—the most vulnerable group in Syria because they have no militias or army to protect them, writes:

The American people and their political representatives must raise the issue of reprisals against Christians and other minorities. It is clear that neither our allies on the ground nor Prince Bandar and their other benefactors in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf care.

Our diplomatic efforts in Syria will never result in a cessation of violence between the varied Islamic sects, our efforts there should be to provide the Christian minority with the means to defend themselves—guns and ammunition. This would, of course, hold true in any part of the world.

Obama’s Birthday … now Isn’t That Special?

It is August 4th and being Obama’s birthday, it is interesting that Al Qaeda has threats out there that have closed our embassies around the world. If they wanted to do something to celebrate Obama’s birthday, maybe they should take a multimillion dollar trip to Africa on the American taxpayer’s dime or go out and play 18 holes.

“The Al Qaeda threat that prompted the State Department to issue a worldwide travel alert and close down 21 embassies and consulates for the weekend is serious and ‘very specific,'” Rep. Peter King, chairman of the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, said on Friday.

“We’re not certain exactly where something might happen, but it’s very specific as to when and it’s also very specific as to the fact that it is going to happen, so we have to be on alert everywhere.”

This travel alert was the first of its kind since the the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The announcement came as Washington prepared to close its embassies and consulates throughout the Muslim world this Sunday (today-Obama’s birthday) over security concerns.

Never mind the fact that we really don’t know whether or not the President was even born in the United States ….

New Revelations in the IRS Scandal

The President has tried discredit the myriad of surrounding scandals as “phony” and implied that they are an intentional distraction form his ingenious efforts to help the middle class and reinvigorate America’s economy. There are many problems with the President’s assertions. These scandals are not phony. Wrong doing has been admitted by the IRS, obvious outright lies have been told by the Obama administration and an impotent, moderate GOP isn’t cunning enough to devise a single “phony” distraction—they’re too busy trying to find a way to get the media to say something nice about them.

During congressional hearings the IRS admitted targeting conservative, Christian and Right to Life organizations seeking 501C3 status. Yet, Jack Lew concludes that he can see “no evidence” that the IRS was politically motivated.

Jack Lew is hack and a liar. How can he make such a claim when the IRS officials have testified that they indeed targeted said conservative groups? The Obama administration has, since their reelection, pushed the limits of the law and circumvention of the Constitution with Executive orders and bureaucratic rule making. We know for a fact that IRS officials shared information about conservative groups with other agencies, using their databanks to cherry pick information for other federal officials to bring legal action against conservatives. Emails between Lois Lerner, the Democrat at the center of the IRS probe, and a lawyer at the Federal Elections Commission, implicate Lerner and the lawyer in conspiring to try to discredit a conservative group in a case before the commission.

Lerner, the director of the IRS exempt organizations office in Washington, D.C., signed cover letters to 15 conservative organizations currently represented by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) between in March and April of 2012. The letters, such as this one sent to the Ohio Liberty Council on March 16, 2012, informed the groups applying for tax-exempt status that the IRS was “unable to make a final determination on your exempt status without additional information,” and included a list of detailed questions of the kind that a Treasury inspector general’s audit found to be inappropriate. Some of the groups to which Lerner sent letters are still awaiting approval.

Lerner has denied involvement in the targeting, which she has blamed on a few “front-line people” in the agency’s Cincinnati field office. “I have not done anything wrong,” she told members of the House oversight committee on Wednesday. However, she then refused to answer any questions, citing protection under the Fifth Amendment. She has since been placed on (paid) administrative leave, and the committee may call her to testify again.

“One thing is clear: this correspondence shows [Lerner’s] direct involvement in the scheme,” wrote Jay Sekulow, chief counsel for the ACLJ. “Further, sending a letter from the top person in the IRS Exempt Organization division to a small Tea Party group also underscores the intimidation used in this targeting ploy.”

The letters coincide with former IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman’s March 2012 testimony before Congress, in which he said there was “absolutely no targeting” of conservative groups at the agency. Months later, an internal IRS investigation concluded that the agency had engaged in such targeting. Obama-administration officials have insisted the targeting stopped in May 2012, although a number of ACLJ clients have received similar requests for information from the IRS within the past year, according to chief counsel Jay Sekulow.

Strassel: Conservatives Became Targets in 2008. The Obama campaign played a big role in a liberal onslaught that far pre-dated Citizens United.
