More violent demonstrations erupted throughout Egypt today, Friday August 16, 2013. Muslim Brotherhood supporters clashed against fellow Muslims, Egyptian security forces and  Christians in what was designated a “Day of Rage.” Does any of this sound familiar? Wasn’t there a “Day of Rage” during the OWS demonstrations and who promoted those?

Obama has embraced, endorsed and ensconced the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and within OUR OWN government—they are the “modern”–yet 7th century, equivalent of the Nazis … our precious, progressive POTUS has said nothing, until yesterday, about the MB’s wholesale persecution and killing of Coptic Christians. That is because he saw his MB brothers finally getting what they deserve from the Egyptian military, who are preforming a favor for the whole of the world by cleaning their house of these savages. And, while this is going on the media, as usual, is getting the story exactly backwards while they try to save face for Obama. They are condemning the violence which they contend is against peaceful Morsi supporters—except that these supporters aren’t peaceful; they are armed and firing on the Egyptian military.

I just heard a FOX News Radio reporter say that the “appearance of the photographs” may go against the anti-Morsi elements of the Egyptian population. Really? These people were betrayed by Morsi, whom Obama supported outright—they don’t care what anyone else thinks about what reporters photograph. They want to rid themselves of the Muslim Brotherhood. I think they are within their rights to do so. Meanwhile the Obama administration is condemning the Egyptian military, who is the only source of authority left and has the apparent support of the  people.

They don’t care what Obama, McCain or Lindsey Graham have to say about what the Egyptian people “need to do”—they’re doing it.

The Muslim Brotherhood is not even remotely comparable to the founding of the United States of America! The Founders were men who had experienced the boot heel of tyranny and decided to construct a government that promoted freewill and liberty—both economically and spiritually. The MB promotes Islam which is wholly theocratic in that the religion is the law and any other choice is criminal—apostasy. Islam is intolerant of all other religions and proclaims itself to be superior to all other religions. I don’t care if you want to call me a racist or not, Obama is WRONG! In fact, he could not be more wrong. Comparing the MB to our founding of America is like comparing procreation to abortion. Yea, I said it!

Why shouldn’t I say it? The MB has been persecuting and killing Coptic Christians in droves throughout Obama;s tenure as President and he has NEVER uttered a word of condemnation. It is disgusting, heartless and cruel.

All of this is a result of Obama’s incompetence. The Obama administration is in deep … and finally a random act of journalism by CNN has made notice of it. Though I could not have imagined what motivations Obama might have had for taking sides in Syria, he apparently had them and I believe it was to aid radical Islam in toppling Syrian president Assad. Then with the current Syrian government out of the way, assisting the Muslim Brotherhood in assuming power as he did in Egypt and Libya. The only problem was that the MB was not as organized and influential as they believed they were. They made Egypt’s already anemic economy worse and then destroyed the only industry Egypt has, tourism. Though the Egyptian people gave Morsi a chance, he was not what they thought they wanted. The MB failed miserably.

The other lesson to be learned from this is that Sharia, a MB centerpiece, is not compatible with a secular society whose mainstay would be tourism. Who is going to visit a country where you might be beheaded for the slightest of offenses? Who wants to go to a country known for its beautiful beaches and be forced to be covered from head to toe? Who wants to go on vacation where some radical religious fanatics are going to be lording over your every action? Not me. Additionally, there are some members within the radial ranks of the MB who are in favor of destroying the Great Pyramids!

As WND reported, Boehner has insisted a devoted, select committee to look into the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, isn’t “necessary.”

Despite allegations the CIA may be covering up a guns-to-terrorists scandal and the White House may have abandoned Americans to die in order to protect the secret, Boehner has entrusted already busy, existing House committees to look into it.

Boehner’s reluctance to launch a more serious investigation has prompted a challenge from within his own party, as Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., introduced a resolution to establish a select committee.

Not a mere dozen, but over 160 House Republicans have co-sponsored the resolution demanding a heightened investigation. Boehner, however, has refused to bring it to a vote.

How can we hold Obama accountable when those who are supposed to be leading our own party are willing to look the other way? The Egyptian people are showing us a lesson—it’s time to clean house!

The President has tried discredit the myriad of surrounding scandals as “phony” and implied that they are an intentional distraction form his ingenious efforts to help the middle class and reinvigorate America’s economy. There are many problems with the President’s assertions. These scandals are not phony. Wrong doing has been admitted by the IRS, obvious outright lies have been told by the Obama administration and an impotent, moderate GOP isn’t cunning enough to devise a single “phony” distraction—they’re too busy trying to find a way to get the media to say something nice about them.

During congressional hearings the IRS admitted targeting conservative, Christian and Right to Life organizations seeking 501C3 status. Yet, Jack Lew concludes that he can see “no evidence” that the IRS was politically motivated.

Jack Lew is hack and a liar. How can he make such a claim when the IRS officials have testified that they indeed targeted said conservative groups? The Obama administration has, since their reelection, pushed the limits of the law and circumvention of the Constitution with Executive orders and bureaucratic rule making. We know for a fact that IRS officials shared information about conservative groups with other agencies, using their databanks to cherry pick information for other federal officials to bring legal action against conservatives. Emails between Lois Lerner, the Democrat at the center of the IRS probe,  and a lawyer at the Federal Elections Commission, implicate Lerner and the lawyer in conspiring to try to discredit a conservative group in a case before the commission.

Lerner, the director of the IRS exempt organizations office in Washington, D.C., signed cover letters to 15 conservative organizations currently represented by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) between in March and April of 2012. The letters, such as this one sent to the Ohio Liberty Council on March 16, 2012, informed the groups applying for tax-exempt status that the IRS was “unable to make a final determination on your exempt status without additional information,” and included a list of detailed questions of the kind that a Treasury inspector general’s audit found to be inappropriate. Some of the groups to which Lerner sent letters are still awaiting approval.

Lerner has denied involvement in the targeting, which she has blamed on a few “front-line people” in the agency’s Cincinnati field office. “I have not done anything wrong,” she told members of the House oversight committee on Wednesday. However, she then refused to answer any questions, citing protection under the Fifth Amendment. She has since been placed on (paid) administrative leave, and the committee may call her to testify again.

“One thing is clear: this correspondence shows [Lerner’s] direct involvement in the scheme,” wrote Jay Sekulow, chief counsel for the ACLJ. “Further, sending a letter from the top person in the IRS Exempt Organization division to a small Tea Party group also underscores the intimidation used in this targeting ploy.”

The letters coincide with former IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman’s March 2012 testimony before Congress, in which he said there was “absolutely no targeting” of conservative groups at the agency. Months later, an internal IRS investigation concluded that the agency had engaged in such targeting. Obama-administration officials have insisted the targeting stopped in May 2012, although a number of ACLJ clients have received similar requests for information from the IRS within the past year, according to chief counsel Jay Sekulow.

Of course, the Democrats never own up to responsibility … instead, they blame the victims or George Bush–whichever is more convenient:

However, the Republican Party has its own chip on its shoulder concerning the Tea Party and they are trying to make sure that conservatives don’t spoil their beltway buffet. House Speaker John Boehner has refused to appoint a special prosecutor claiming that it isn’t possible and would be ineffective. But we had one in Watergate and Iran Contra and White Water. You have to wonder if Boehner isn’t batting for the other team; Darrell Issa can’t investigate everything by himself and we need individuals with prosecutorial experience for each scandal!

Why Republicans can’t back down…

With the GOP-led House and the Democratic Senate and White House far apart on a measure to pay the federal government’s bills past March 4, Washington is rumbling toward a repeat of the 1995 government-shutdown fight (actually two shutdown fights, one in mid-November of that year and the other in mid-December).This makes some Republicans nervous. They think Bill Clinton “won” the blame game that year, and they’re afraid they will get the short end of the stick if there is a 1995-type impasse this year.

A timid approach, though, is a recipe for failure. It means that President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid can sit on their hands, make zero concessions, and wait for the GOP to surrender any time a deadline approaches.

In other words, budget hawks in the House have no choice. They have to fight.

But they can take comfort in the fact that this is not a suicide mission. The conventional wisdom about what happened in November of 1995 is very misleading.

Republicans certainly did not suffer at the polls. They lost only nine House seats, a relatively trivial number after a net gain of 54 in 1994. They actually added to their majority in the Senate, picking up two seats in the 1996 cycle.

More important, they succeeded in dramatically reducing the growth of federal spending. They did not get everything they wanted, to be sure, but government spending grew by just 2.9 percent during the first four years of GOP control, helping to turn a $164 billion deficit in 1995 into a $126 billion surplus in 1999. And they enacted a big tax cut in 1997.

If that’s what happens when Republicans are defeated, I hope the GOP loses again this year.

So what actually happened in 1995, and why do Republicans have such unpleasant memories?

The debate that year hinged on some issues that favored the GOP, such as whether the budget should be balanced within seven years, and whether to use scoring from the Congressional Budget Office instead of the executive branch’s Office of Management and Budget. But there were also some issues that favored the Clinton administration, such as whether the elderly should pay higher Medicare premiums.

And it’s worth pointing out that 1995 was a perfect storm of fiscal-policy conflicts, featuring fights over appropriations (annual spending), reconciliation (taxes and entitlements), and the debt limit. This year’s fight — at least at this early stage — is only about appropriations for the rest of 2011.

Also key is that 1995 was a fight between an unstoppable force and an immovable object. Republicans sent legislation to the White House; Bill Clinton used his veto pen. Republicans said Bill Clinton was shutting down the government by vetoing legislation; Bill Clinton said Republicans were shutting down the government by sending him unacceptable proposals.

They eventually struck a deal, of course, with Republicans winning on their issues (balanced budget in seven years with CBO scoring) and Bill Clinton winning on his issues (such as Medicare premiums). But since the polling data favored the White House, Bill Clinton was declared the victor.
